Installing Live365 Radio for iPhone or iPod Touch

There are several ways to download and install Live365 Radio to your iPhone or iPod Touch device.

Install direct to your device.
We recommend that you
click the App Store icon from your iPhone/iPod Touch desktop and install direct to your device.

Once the App Store is open on your device, click the search button and type "Live365 Radio." When you have successfully located it, click the "Install" button. The application includes a 5-day VIP free trial.


Alternative installation method:

Install with the iTunes desktop software.
Go to the iPhone App Store, and choose "install." (This link will open your iTunes application.)
Live365 Radio is free to download and install. Includes a 5-day VIP free trial!
After you have downloaded the application, connect/sync your iPhone or iPod with iTunes and Live365 Radio will be installed.


Uninstalling Live365 Radio

From your iPhone/iPod desktop, press and hold the Live365 icon until it starts to wobble.
When that happens an X will appear in the corner of the icon. Press the X and the application will be deleted.

Requirements:
  • iPhone or iPod Touch (3G or otherwise)
  • Unlimited data plan (you will be streaming a lot and you don't want any nasty surprises when your phone bill comes!)

Installing Live365 Radio for BlackBerry

There are a couple ways to download and install Live365 Radio to your BlackBerry device.
  1. Install direct to your phone from the BlackBerry App World.
    Launch BlackBerry's new App World application from your BlackBerry phone, then search for "Live365." Once you've found the Live365 page, click "Run" and Live365 Radio will install.

  2. Install direct to your phone from your browser.
    Point your phone's browser directly to the Live365 Radio Mobile install page (www.live365.com/mobile). Once you're on the web page, click the install link next to the BlackBerry picture and the install process will begin.
NOTE: "Poor Data Connection" error on start-up can be caused by missing streaming/TCP setup data on certain phones. This can be fixed by entering the correct TCP settings for your carrier. Visit our help page for instructions.

Launching Live365 Radio on Your BlackBerry

  1. Depending on your device and carrier, the applications are installed in the "Applications" or "Downloads" folders. From the desktop on your phone, click the folders to open them and locate the Live365 icon.

  2. Click the "Live365 Radio" icon to launch.

  3. You will see the loading icon for several seconds followed by the launch of Live365 Radio. A 5-day VIP free trial is included - enjoy!


Uninstalling Live365 Radio

  1. Go to your "Settings" folder from your BlackBerry desktop

  2. Select the "options" icon

  3. Click on "Advanced Options" from the list

  4. Click on "Applications"

  5. It will build the application list. Then scroll down and HIGHLIGHT Live365. Don't click on it - just highlight it. (If you click on it, just hit "back.")

  6. Click your "Options" button (the one with the little dots) and select "Delete"

  7. It will ask you to confirm the delete... answer yes and then restart the phone. All done.

Live365 Radio should work on the following devices:
  • Bold 9000
  • Pearl 8703, 8700, 8120, 8130, 8100, 7130a
  • Curve 8330, 8320, 8310, 8300, 8900
  • 8800, 8820, 8830
  • Does not currently work on the Storm or Tour.

Live365 Radio should operate on most BlackBerry devices. However, it is not yet available for the Storm or Tour.


Data Speeds

Data connection speeds vary across the U.S. so your experience may be also vary depending on your data speeds where you live and work. For instance, higher audio quality streams (128k) will not play consistently on the AT&T mobile Edge network yet play fine on Verizon's EVDO network. It's free to try so give it a spin. Ther

Requirements:
  • BlackBerry OS 4.5 or higher preferred
    (use the BlackBerry Desktop software that came with your phone to upgrade)
  • At least 1 MB free disk space on device or on storage card
  • Unlimited data plan (you'll be streaming a lot and we don't want any nasty surprises when your phone bill comes!)
  • Installing Live365 Radio for Windows® Mobile 5/6

    Install direct to your phone.
    Point your phone's browser directly to the Live365 Radio Mobile install page (www.live365.com/mobile). Once you're on the web page, click the install link next to the Windows Mobile picture and the install process will begin.

    Uninstalling Live365 Radio

    1. From the Windows Mobile Desktop, click "Start."
    2. Scroll down to the "Settings" item and select it.
    3. Scroll down to the "Remove Programs" item and select it.
    4. Scroll down to "Live365 Radio" and select it. Confirm by clicking "yes" and it will be uninstalled

    Live365 Radio should operate on most mobile phones running Windows Mobile 5 or 6. It may not run on the Windows 2003 or CE operating system

    • Windows Mobile 5 or 6
    • At least 3 MB free disk space on device or on storage card
    • Unlimited data plan (you'll be streaming a lot and we don't want any nasty surprises when your phone bill comes!)

    When In Your Car

    Visit your mobile carrier's website for a complete line of accessories including cassette adaptors, FM transmitters, and cables.
